 الجزیرہ کی رپورٹ کے مطابق، ترکی کی وزارت قومی دفاع نے کہا ہے کہ کسی بھی ایسی چیز سے گریز کیا جانا چاہیے جو "بڑے تنازع" کا باعث بن سکے۔ "ہماری ترجیح غزہ میں قتل عام کا خاتمہ اور خطے میں پائیدار امن کے قیام کے لیے ہے،" ترجمان زیکی اکترک نے اسرائیلی فورسز کے "ریفیوجی کیمپوں اور اسکولوں پر جہاں بے گھر فلسطینی پناہ کی تلاش میں ہیں" کے "قابل نفرت حملوں" کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے کہا۔ "یہ تشویشناک ہے کہ ان حملوں سے علاقائی استحکام کو خطرہ ہے۔ اکترک نے مزید کہا کہ ہر اس اقدام سے گریز کیا جانا چاہیے جو کسی بڑے تنازع کا باعث بن سکے۔
